We live in a divided nation. All across this country we are seeing a split in political beliefs and ideologies more dramatic than any time in recent history. The rhetoric is often sharp, angry, and in some cases misleading -- on both sides. There are candidates and citizens alike who have somehow forgotten their humanity and, in that lapse of memory, forgotten what true American values are based on -- though if you ask those people, they may say exactly the same about those who disagree with them.

In a time as fractured as this one it is hard to find a common ground, but tomorrow no matter what your political affiliation or core set of beliefs there is one thing that all Americans have in common, one unifying thing that despite our differences makes us all the same: voting. Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 6th is Election Day and now more than ever before it's critical that every person who can vote does so. Vote like your life depends on it, because, in many real ways, it does.
