When I had my first daughter I knew I wanted to capture her growing up in a fun and magical way. I took her all over Kansas City to get photos taken, for all of the special occasions, holidays, birthdays and even when she had good hair days -- something worth capturing as she was born with a head full of amazing dark curls and bright blue eyes.

When her first Easter came around I knew we needed to get images but plastic eggs and fake grass was not my style. I searched all around and only one location had chicks and one bunny. I drove 45 minutes to get to that studio, and each time I went to view my gallery and order my prints, a tornado was hovering over the studio, I'm not exaggerating. Those are my favorite images ever, and I knew I would offer this experience, minus the tornado, to my clients.

I am excited to say that on March 25th, I will be hosting my 3rd Annual Easter Bunny and Chicks Session in my studio, with a NEW setup.  The Missouri House Rabbit Society will be there with adorable fuzzy bunnies and baby chicks for kids to pet and have their photos taken with. What's cuter than adorable children and adorable fuzzy bunnies? Nothing! And the best part is that this session not only creates permanent memories for my clients but also helps raise awareness and money for the Missouri House Rabbit Society, an all-volunteer, nonprofit, no-kill rabbit rescue. It's truly one of the best things I get to do with my work, make children smile and save bunnies, too.
